The civil ceremony took place beneath a canopy of aqua-green silk: an aisle of green carpet lined with foliage and flowers, rows of clear chairs and, at the far end, the signing table before a panel of greenery with a gold chandelier above.

The drinks reception changed colour: pink drapes beneath a structure open to the sky, crystal chandeliers, round tables with mauve napkins and pale roses, a curved sofa with pink cushions and a chequered black-and-white floor. At the entrance, urns of roses on lit pedestals lead into a corridor bearing the couple’s initials; a pink cake and a dessert table on natural linen, with grapes and pale roses, complete the scene.

    From aqua green to pink, pale roses and crystal chandeliers tie the ceremony to the drinks reception.
