Drinks reception in lilac, fuchsia and white

The entrance was an avenue of white drapes over a pale blue carpet, lined with pots of flowers, leading to three towers of flowers and foliage framed by wooden arches. Beneath a fabric portal, the table with two chairs was crowned by a canopy of foliage with trailing fuchsia and lilac blooms.

In the garden, long wooden tables with white cloths, gold-rimmed plates and cane-backed chairs alternate with round tables, where a golden metal tree laden with foliage and flowers rules the centre. A three-tier cake ringed with lilac flowers and an aisle lit up at night complete the picture.
