Suzana

50th birthday

The cake setting rises inside a large orange frame, among palms lit in green and clay jars. The white cake, with sculpted waves and copper ribbons, sits on a glass top over a tall jar; beside it, the blue “Happy Birthday” neon glows on a dark green panel, with orange roses and eucalyptus at its foot.

In the hall, the round tables are dressed in pale cloths, with copper chargers, printed menus, candles in glass holders and orange roses at the centre. Black woven-rope chairs, terracotta-coloured walls, hanging glass globes and a wine wall lit in amber give them a warm backdrop; the high tables, in orange and lime, mark out the lounge area.
