Family Private Affair

The garden became the dining room: a long white table lined with white round-backed chairs, a path of fuchsia bougainvillea running down its centre. The same flowers climb the tree trunks, spill as petals across the lawn and fill large vases on white pedestals.

At the table, rustic wooden slices sit beneath plates in geometric patterns of gold and earth tones, with gold cutlery with white handles and a napkin topped with a single bloom. Yellow candles in white candlesticks and strings of lights among the branches do the rest of the lighting.
