The civil ceremony was set directly on the sand, facing the sea. A canopy of draped white fabric, fixed to wooden posts, shelters the couple’s table, while two columns of large leaves in pink, green and grey, with white feathers and pale pink flowers, frame the entrance.

A white carpet leads to the altar between rows of white hydrangeas and roses, with clear chairs lined up on either side, leaving the blue-grey of the sea and sky to serve as the backdrop. At the table, small sprays of leaves and flowers tied to the chairs echo the palette of the canopy.
