Engagement party and wedding drinks reception

The engagement party took place in a thatched pavilion, its ceiling covered in strings of warm lights and wicker and crystal chandeliers. On the round wooden tables, black plates on straw chargers, napkins in yellow and brown printed fabric and sprays of tiny flowers with dried grass; beyond them, sawn logs and palm fans, and a corner of baskets, gourds and drums.

The drinks reception was entirely in white and green, beside the pool: light drapes above the tables, hanging spheres of white flowers, flower arches over the water and a pavilion of foliage with two high-backed armchairs. At night, the lighting turned it to shades of pink and turquoise.
