The civil ceremony took place outdoors beside the pool: a white aisle between rows of salmon-coloured velvet chairs with gold frames, lined with clusters of pink flowers and urns on white pedestals, towards an arch covered in blossoms. At the far end stood a wooden table with two gold chairs trimmed with small posies and bows.

The drinks reception was set in a lawned garden, beneath a pergola of sand-coloured drapes and strings of lights: tables dressed in pale pink, cane-backed wooden chairs, pale blue plates on pink chargers and tall flower centrepieces. At the end, the main table on a white platform, among yellow roses, gypsophila, candles and a gold chandelier.
