The setting is built on a single shade. Red drapes enclose the space, spheres of red roses rise on gold stands and gold chairs with carmine seats surround round tables in white linen. Two crystal chandeliers hang from red arches and, between the centrepieces, glass globes with suspended candles light the tables in the late afternoon.

Every place has a white scalloped-edge plate on a red charger, gold cutlery and a carmine ribbon bow. At the entrance, the staircase was covered in garlands of roses and the DJ table was dressed in flowers beneath LED screens. Once night fell, the cake stood beneath a neon sign, beside a cascade of roses.
