A wedding in yellow and green

The ceremony took place in a garden: butter-coloured drapes between stone pillars, woven straw lamps hanging from cascades of white flowers and, on either side of the white aisle, rows of yellow orchids and ferns. Pale wooden chairs with small posies tied to their backs and a dark-topped table ringed with foliage completed the setting.

At nightfall, the reception dressed itself in green and yellow: a flower arch with a window-shaped frame embracing the four-tier cake, tables laid with green glasses and gold-beaded chargers, and a foliage portal beneath a golden chandelier.
