The ceremony took place on a wooden boardwalk between pink and lilac flowers and cross-back chairs, leading to a timber table with oval-backed chairs dressed in garlands of tiny flowers, before a wall of roses and hydrangeas. In the pool, clear umbrellas carried sprays of roses.

The drinks reception opened with a passage of crystal chandeliers, hanging flowers and portraits of the couple, and continued to tables laid with olive-green napkins and pink flowers. At night, curtains of fairy lights and flower-wrapped columns surrounded the cake and the white dance floor with its monogram.
